Scott is a native of the Coachella Valley, giving him a genuine knowledge of the people and its culture. After graduating from the University of Southern California, he spent several years as a commercial real estate broker and later obtained a Master of Real Estate Development degree at his alma mater. His next seven years were as a home builder / land developer here in the desert. Since retiring from the business in 2005, his interest in the craft brewing industry grew. After several years of home brewing, Scott dreamed of starting a microbrewery in the desert. The dream became a reality in early 2013 when he founded La Quinta Brewing Co. He currently lives in La Quinta with his wife of 15 years and two young children.
